1989 NSM4 built by Graham Edwards, originally hog stepped, but later converted to deck stepped with (probably) the original M1 alloy mast The usual abundance of sails and spinnakers including a decent HD set. Two carbon spinnaker poles rigged for self launching. An old but serviceable launching/ road trailer combo and a cover that keeps the dust off but not much else so will need covered storage or a new one.
I just found a fixed rudder and original spinnaker pole, there are probably other bits kicking about.. l think the photos should provide any missing information
Went down to check the boat today, reminded me the paintwork was professionally renewed late twenties and the varnished topsides look top class.Renewed the advert on the club notice board and set the price at £750. A lot of boat and kit for that money I reckon. Qualifies for the MROA Classic Series and at Chew we raced in the general handicap on a rating similar to Scorpions and RS200s rather than the modern Merlin handicap, so that could be applied successfully elsewhere, results being more down to the helm and crews ability and who made least mistakes rather than boat design. It was a lot of fun, provided we stayed upright !
